Head over the newly raised platforms and head to the exit. This will allow player orange to portal down to the red button.

As the game goes on, the tasks become increasingly difficult, requiring ten to fifteen steps of reflecting lasers, avoiding acid pools and getting shot off springboards. Player orange and blue will then need to proceed forward, when they see a white panel located on player orange’s side, they will need to place a purple portal on the far panel close to orange and a blue portal on the ledge. You are told to complete a series of tests in a metallic warehouse. Player orange will need to pass through the force field, grab the cube from blue and place it onto the weighed button. Head through the door, press the next cube button, player orange will need to grab the cube and pass it through the window to player blue. When you get to the room with the red button, press it, this will cause a cube to fall, head over and pick up the cube and place it on the weighted cube button, player orange will need to press their button and place their cube on their weighted button. When you get to the white panel on the wall, you will need to fire a blue portal on the panel and portal, player orange will then need to fire an orange portal on your side of the glass and a red portal on the white panel on their side of the glass. Player blue will need to stand on the button to open the door for orange, once orange has gone through the newly opened door, they will need to head over and stand on the large button to open player blue’s door.

Players will need to use their portal device to shoot portals to get to the ledge GlaDOS wants them to head to. This will allow them to shoot their own portals. GlaDOS will now pretend to be your partner, both players will need to use their ping tool to show GlaDOS where they would like the portal to be placed.īoth players will need to head through their portals, they will then drop onto their portal device. GlaDOS will then tell you about your ping took, you will be able to use your ping tool to show your partner where you would like them to place their portal. Player orange will then need to select their favourite element off of the periodic table, player blue will need to take note what the element is. The first thing GlaDOS will tell you to do is wave at your partner, once you have waved at one another, player blue will need to select their ping took and pick out their favourite animal.
